TimelyTalks will be examining issues in mental health, including webinars, articles and interviews. A few notes about my approach to mental health.

Being respectful of each person’s situation, I bring the principles of mindfulness to the practice of Solution-Based, Brief Psychotherapy. Brief consultations help in resolving challenges in relationships, transitions, parenting, stress and loss. I offer Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) classes, addressing the toll stress takes on both mind and body.

Recently, I have begun offering individual iRest Yoga Nidra  sessions. Integrative Restoration (iRest) is an evidence-based practice of deep relaxation and meditative inquiry. The outcome of the sessions have been remarkable.

I also offer workshops and seminars. Topics include: Mindful Stress Reduction, Co-Parenting, Mindful Parenting, Enhancing Resiliency, Beyond the Creative Block and other sessions.

One day workshops are often held in an eight sided room with large windows on each side, providing a view of the surrounding redwoods. My office is just a few feet away. A very serene setting.
